Mansfield with Monsters was awarded a shiny SJV award for Best Collected Work. Matt Cowens and I won a joint award for Best New Talent. Needless to say much astonished delight, squealing joy and gluttonous celebrations have been had in the Cowens household.

Thanks so much to everyone who voted for Mansfield with Monsters. It's very special and happy-making. Congratulations to all the other winners and nominees. It was an impressive line-up and just be nominated amongst so many brilliant writers was a thrill and an honour.
