Only one week left of NaNo now! I reached the 40,000 word mark today. It feels like the home stretch now (in terms of winning NaNo at least, I think the book is going to be closer to 60,000 so I'll still be working on it in December). I have been enjoying being emailed the NaNo pep talks from various awesome writers and reading the always inspiring NaNo tip blog posts on alternate days from everybody's favourite Young Adult literary dynamic-duo Justine Larbalestier and Scott Westerfeld.
