In view of my tendency to overindulge on anything that contains or resembles chocolate, cookies, candy or pumpkin pie on Halloween, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather this morning by climbing up a huge hill. The view over the sea and Kapiti island was beautiful, and the exertion of shoulder-riding a toddler for a considerable portion of the steep hill should negate some of the calorific overload from tonight's gluttonous carnage.
Indeed I may even make some of these tempting Chocolate Mice treats from the excellent Dying for Chocolate blog.

A good walk up the hill will fix it, though. That's my plan. Great photos!
It's a dangerously delicious site for many tempting chocolate recipes. Needless to say I spend a great deal of time drooling over the food pics there. :-)
